This is where the OBRN story begins.
OBRN is a Black community-led nonprofit organization committed to promoting racial justice and fostering resilience throughout Oregon. We pay it forward.

In February 2024, the Oregon Black Resource Network (OBRN) was formed by a collective of Black homeowners and business leaders in the Cully neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
OBRN is stepping up statewide to tackle the housing and health crises impacting our beloved Black communities. From gun violence to racial injustice to climate change, the challenges are urgent, and so is our response.
No matter where you live or who you love in Oregon, we’re working for your stability, equity, and a future where we thrive. OBRN is safely convening people like you who support community-led organizations like ours to find common ground.
